Graduation coaching is a proactive approach.
The approach focuses on helping students overcome barriers, both academic and nonacademic, to ensure success. Coaching is a hands-on form of academic and professional mentoring that provides support for students who want to improve study habits, gain time management skills and balance work, family obligations and beyond.

Greetings!
My name is Felipe Lopez and I am your South San High School Graduation Coach. I am a proud product of West Texas. I moved to San Antonio in 2011 and attended Texas A&M University - San Antonio. I graduated with my Teacher's License to teach English. I worked at NISD for 10 years. I finished my NISD career teaching AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination).
I have completed one amazing year at South San High School and I look forward to many more.
My Masters' is in College Administration. I have done a lot of work on making college students successful. In those discoveries, I found many of the skills were introduced in elementary, middle and high school. I now bridge all my knowledge from teaching and being an administrator to help you be successful after high school.
My role is to assist all juniors and seniors by helping them fill in gaps or by supporting all their goals and dreams.
