South San Antonio High School Academic Dean

 

I am a proud first-generation college graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio. I went on to earn my master’s degree from Lamar University and a Doctorate in Education from Abilene Christian University. I bring nearly a decade of experience working with students and teachers across grades 5–12. I started my career as a 7th-grade math teacher and eventually taught mathematics ranging from 5th grade to Algebra 1, serving as both a teacher of record and a SPED co-teacher. As a leader, I have served as an Assistant Principal of Instruction and, most recently, as a Principal in Residence.

I am thrilled to serve as the Academic Dean of South San Antonio High School! I look forward to partnering with our vibrant school community to leverage our Bobcat pride, deep sense of community, and dedication to academic achievement to continue our tradition of excellence.
